Gamecube - Released May 17, 2002 in Australia the Gamecube was Nintendo’s 5th console (including the VirtualBoy).
Unit Sales: -Somewhere around 21.20 million as of September 2006.
Info: The sales of the console did not sell as much as expected most likely due to lack of 3rd party support, (no DVD player), and the pure popularity of the PS2 at the time. Apart from that, the Nintendo Gamecube wasn’t a complete flop with quite a lot of sales and loyal fans Microsoft and Sony would dream for. All and all an excellent system with a wide variety of splendid games.
